Dr. Farshid Sefat

Dr Farshid Sefat is Associate Professor and Programme Leader in Regenerative Medicine. He previously was head of Biomedical Engineering Department at King Faisal University (KSA) and also a Visiting Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey, USA). He completed his Medical Degree (Radiology) from Shiraz Medical University, and he is specialised in Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine. He also completed his post doctorate research assistant at University of Sheffield (UK) in the area of cornea regenerative medicine. He also received his Ph.D. in bone regenerative medicine and BEng. degree in Medical Engineering both from University of Bradford (UK). He also obtained his MSc. in Cell and Tissue Engineering from Keele University (UK).
Beside his clinical experiences, his research is based on developing biomaterials to control cellular behaviour with particular emphasis in developing engineered materials for various regenerative medicine applications. He is an author of 12 edited books, >150 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He gave talk as keynote speaker at >100 conferences. He is on the editorial boards and reviewer of >30 numerous journals. His research interest is mainly in the area of skin and hair regenerative medicine as well as female hygiene. Currently he is supervising 20 Undergraduate and postgraduate research students in his lab.

 

Dr. Morvarid Saei​

Dr Morvarid Saei is specialised in Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine. She is also specialised in stem cell therapy. She completed her second degree in biology and genetics. Beside her clinical experiences, her research is mainly based on stem cell and exosome therapy. She is an author of >100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and 2 edited books. Currently she is supervising 5 Undergraduate and postgraduate research students in her lab. Dr Saei won the Academic Award of National Elite (Talent) Foundation which is a very prestigious national award. She received silver medal for her research in the field of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
